Comment Problem

    Hi

    My website is new But:
    I have 300 pending comments and 506 approved comments which all of them
    are spam.(I’m sure all of them are spam).
    First time i approve one user and now i know that user send these comments.
    I remove all 300 pending comment and also remove that user; Then install
    Akismet and also install delete spam comments plugins. After that close comment in settings–>Discussion.
    Now 506 approved comments increase every day(Now is 643 comments) and when i click on approved comments in setting i can’t see any comment.
    I think they can hack my wordpress website. I’m right?
    Anyone can help?

    If you believe you have been hacked then remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    However before doing so, just to confirm, you removed 506 approved comments, and they have now returned or simply that after running Akismet they haven’t been deleted?

    Hi Dear Tim,

    No, As i said I can’t see approved comments which can delete them.
    And After run Akismet approved comments increase every day.
    I think Akismet can’t recognize these comments are spam.

    Do all like this guide.
    But i have 1293 approved comments now and increase every day.
    any idea?
