Hi @flizzywp,
Could you tell me what plugin did you install, please? I want to try it on my end and see if I can replicate this issue. This way I’ll be able to check this out and see how to make things go back to normal.
Thank you for your help!
The plugin is called “GDPR Comments”

Hi,
Could you make sure that the Show comments cookies opt-in checkbox. checkbox from Dashboard → Settings → Discussion area is checked, please? This is the option that makes the “store my data for later” appear in the comments section.
Damn, I didn’t know about that option.
Now it’s back, thank you!

Hello,
the “store my data for later” checkbox that was introduced with (I think) 4.9.7 is gone after I installed a plugin that was supposed to add some text below the comment field.
I uninstalled the plugin, but the checkbox is still gone (I tested it in incognito mode).
I am a WordPress/webdev noob. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
