comment bubble not showing on mobile

    By default, it appears you hide the comment bubble on the index pages as well as inside posts on mobile devices. For my audience, it’s essential to have that showing… Also, we use disqus, so although comment count is showing properly… when you click it it tries to scroll down to #MH-Comments so it doesn’t actually take you anywhere, wondering if there’s a simple way to tell it on click to scroll down to disqus like other themes do. Hopefully you can shed some light on these simple matters, thanks.

    i resolved all of it on my own, by default you display: none on mobile for entry comment meta… all im wondering now is if theres a way when ppl click the comment count, it knows to bring them down to the comment section (which is disqus in my case) thanks!

    Yes, that’s how it has been designed and it’s supposed to work like that as there is limited space available on mobile.

    The ID for the comment section is applied to the heading which is displaying before the comment section. If that heading is not showing on your website, e.g. if you’ve disabled WordPress comments completely, then there won’t be an ID.

    However, what you could do of course (if your plugin has removed the default heading) is create a child theme and apply the ID somewhere else so that the click event for the WordPress comment section works with your Disqus comment section accordingly.
