Comic Easel – Fatal Error, can't do anything

I just tried uploading the plugin for Comic Easel, but immediately after doing this, I am unable to do anything including logging into my website or even getting my website to load. All I get is: Fatal error: Call to undefined method Jetpack::is_module_active() in /home/taddgalusha/taddgalusha.com/wp-content/plugins/comic-easel/functions/injections.php on line 20

Please help, we are expected to launch a new webcomic tomorrow!
