Come Spostare Multisito

    Ciao,
    ho installato WordPress multisite con Softacolous su server Aruba all’indirizzo lnx.deltafluid.com.
    (Non ho potuto installarlo all’indirizzo ufficiale deltafluid.com perché non posso oscurare attualmente il sito che c’è…)

    Ho deciso di creare un multisite perché in due sottocartelle (deltafluid.com/secondo-sito e deltafluid.com/terzo-sito) dovrò creare altri sue siti con diversi temi (uno è un woocommerce).
    Questa è una scelta strutturale, di permessi utenti che contribuiranno all pubblicazione di contenuti nei siti, e perché tutti e tre hanno alcuni plugin in comune (Elementor Pro, Astra Pro, toast Pro).

    la mia domanda è:
    quando dovrò spostare l’interno network dei tre siti da lnx.deltafluid.com a deltafluid.com , il passaggio sarà facile o sarà un bagno si sangue (per un non programmatore..).

    Changing domain names on any site, even just a subdomain is not trivial. I would not say it’s a “bagno si sangue” though :). Domain names can lurk in unexpected places in the DB. Places where a simple search and replace would corrupt the data. The search and replace needs to be able to correctly deal with serialized data. Look at the search and replace portion in this section:

    Even though you are on the same server, moving a site to a different folder with a different subdomain is very much like moving to a new server.
