Combining [ss_player] with Single Episode Widget

Hey Team!
I love SSP and I’m using it on three different Podcast-Websites. I’m working on a whole revamp on one of them and I stumbled over an issue I don’t really understand.

I’m using the HTML5 Player With Album Art which has been great so far. Until now the player itself was only showed within podcast posts but never on the front page. Right now im trying to include it on the front page within the single episode widget but the player only shows up as the default “Standard Compact Player”. I tried to force the HTML5 player with the [podcast_episode] shortcode in combination with [ss_player] withing a text widget but this didn’t work either. Is there any way to force the HTML5 player besides the general settings within the plug-in settings?

I’d love to see the album art and the nice player diretly when I enter the website.
