    Hi Roland,

    is it possible to login in wordpress and PDB at the same time, with one login form?

    Some background info:
    what we need: a membership site, member pays his subscription (woocommerce + membership plugin) and sets up his profile in PDB. Profile is a commercial offer and must be searchable and selectable by people who are interested in the commercial service that is mentioned in the profile. This interest might result in becoming a customer of the member who made the profile

    What I have:
    wordpress + woocommerce + membership: works perfect; PDB: works perfect, but independent of wordpress.

    Problem: 1) Dedicated membership pages outside PDB cannot be accessed while logged in in PDB. Needs a login in WP. Two seperate logins is not user-friendly. 2) I tried the wp userprofile plugin. Solves the login issue but doesn’t allow me to use PDB-single. PDB-user-profile does show the profile of a selected user but only in an editble way. Not in nice presentation without edit function.

    A combined login PDB+WP with one form would solve my problem. I bought and actively use almost all your PDB plugins. Thanks for your support.

    I don’t know if you’re doing this, but you should not try to use the Participant Login and PDB User Profile add-ons at the same time. There is no need for the Participant Login because with the PDB User Profile add-on, you’re using the WordPress login to identify the user and show them their editable record (which is all the Participant Login does). This is already what you are asking for, so what’s missing is specific functionality for the logged in user.

    If you want to show the logged-in user their profile in read-only form, use the [pdb_user_single] shortcode.

    Thanks Roland, it does solve my problem. Is the pdb_user_single template the same as the pdb_single_default template? I need to change the code a bit, can I change pdb_user_single by changing the code of pdb_single_default? The code-change is customisation of the frontend appearance.

    The [pdb_user_single] shortcode uses the “single” template, so you can set up a custom template by starting with a single template in the usual way. Then you can call the template in the shortcode…for example, if your single template is named pdb-single-custom.php you call it like this:

    [pdb_user_single template=custom]
