Columns break layout on ipad

Hi there,

I’m using Twenty Thirteen as my theme and have created a child with full width page layouts. When I use the columns part of Shortcodes it doesn’t look right on ipads.

http://www.firebirdstudios.co.uk/rooms/ is a good example. Is this the columns fault? teh dimensions of the picture being in pixels?
