    Hello,

I am trying to update the apps to comply with the current versions of the tool, since some of the features I have used are now described as “legacy”.

One aspect which is causing serious frustration is that I have created a simple data table app to display the data from a table – no editing required. One of the columns in the database is entitled “la_code”. This is an abbreviation for “local authority code”, but as the codes generally only have four characters, a shorter title is appropriate – for example “L.A. code”. Unfortunately, despite many attempts, on the screen this column heading is always displayed as “La Code”, which is totally confusing for the users.

Please can you clarify how I can change the display title to an appropriate text? I have worked through what I believe are all of the various possible settings, but none have achieved the desired effect.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Nigel

    Hi @rc169,

You can rename columns by clicking on the column name in Table Builder > Columns.

Do you mean to report that the changes you made in the Table Builder aren’t taking effect?

If you have a link to this table, please send it to us so we can check.

You can also send us a message directly via Contact | WP Data Access.

We’ll wait for your email. 🙏
