Column Sort

    Hi – I am a new user of TablePress and have made a simple two column table http://bit.ly/14GYema

    For this table I do not want users to sort but I would like the table in alphabetical order on the first column.

    I found what I though was a solution and that was to put “aaSorting”: [[0,’asc’]] in custom commands but it does not seem to be working for me 🙁

    Hi,

    thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

    Yes, that “Custom Command” only works, if the sorting is enabled.
    Now, as you don’t want any of the JS features on the table, I’d actually suggest this:
    – Uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox.
    – Sort the table directly on the “Edit” screen by using the sort function near the column name at the top of the column.
