Column and Lightbox problem

    You can use a plugin to display the lightbox (like Simple lightbox).

    If it is your theme that is causing the rows and columns problem then switch to the default WordPress theme (2014).

    Unfortunately, since this is my exam work, switching themes is not really possible.

    Also, I installed Simple Lightbox, NOW WHAT. I have absolutely no idea what to do.

    Hi OKami_hu,
    In settings -> Gallery you can select images per page and also number of columns.

    If that is not working , it is likely the theme has some restrictions causing the one-column effect.

    Hello,

    I had the same problem, all thumbnails appeared under each other instead of in a row as usually. I reinstalled 1.9.15 and now it works again. So it seems to me that this problem is caused by the update.

    I switched to Twenty Fourteen to check if it works at all, and the column problem was still present. Lighbox worked though so at least that is my fault.

    Did you reinstall the version that you have?
