Hello, I need to have tables in my newsletters to display some financial data. Some of those tables need colspan and rowspan on cells to display the data correctly. However when I add a table from a post or through the editor, these colspan and rowspan attributes are removed. Can you let me know how to stop these from being stripped? Either a setting or some code I can adjust in the plugin files. Thanks.

    Hi there @blenderryan 👋🏽!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

However when I add a table from a post or through the editor, these colspan and rowspan attributes are removed.

Unfortunately, custom HTML cannot be included in a newsletter using our email editor.

It will be automatically removed due to the rendering process ensuring maximum compatibility across a range of email clients.

In some cases, you can create a custom shortcode following this guide:

    Cheers!
