    Love this plugin!
    However, ICC colour profile is preserved in original JPEG uploads processed by Imagick, but lost during WebP/AVIF conversion step in plugin pipeline. Can you help?

    Just an update for anyone faced with the same issues – I forked this and made my own updates:

    • Transition from raw GD functions to the native WordPress Core Image Editor pipeline (wp_get_image_editor()).
    • Automatically prefer ImageMagick (WP_Image_Editor_Imagick) when available, guaranteeing preservation of ICC color profiles and EXIF orientation metadata.

    Note – this mainly works for WebP. AVIF creation currently fails with Imagick.
