color picker gone

    On the wordpress dashboard, under products-attributes the color picker has disappeared which is part of the page. Anybody know how to get this back, is there something in the wp theme editor to change?

    Hello,

    By default, there is no color picker under Products > Attributes. I believe it’s an added feature by one of your plugins. Have you recently deactivated plugins?

    huh…really I have no idea I was changing themes alot and I just assumed when I made products that the colors I were making were part of wordpress because they were there when I first started. Yes I have unplugged some plugins but things I weren’t using. In the customfy theme I am currently using it was normal bars and I wanted to know how to make them into squares so I uploaded a woo color swatch plugin, to see if I could make the long bars into squares. as soon as I did I noticed it didn’t work because every square was clear and I looked in the attributes to try to see why the colors weren’t in the squares, I hit apply and all checked, went back to the plugin and there were no colors. So I then went back to attributes and the colors disappeared. after awhile I just deleted the plugin..that’s about it.

    and I have another issue, can you explain why my email from this account shows in the customer checkout page email. My store has a completely different email hooked into my hosting company. I tried everything to do with emails and nothing gets rid of it.

    Not a problem, we’ll be happy to help you use the WooCommerce plugin. Thanks for sharing the system report, everything seems to be OK there.

    From looking at your plugin list, I’m not sure what you were using for the color picker feature you mention. As this is your first steps with WordPress, I would recommend that you start experimenting with a simpler setup with just WooCommerce activated and a default theme like Storefront. A lot of users can get by with the default WordPress features and just a handful of plugins.

    Once you’re comfortable with WordPress and WooCommerce, and are able to understand to what extent they can help you achieve your goals, you’ll be able to confidently pick plugins and a theme to fill the gaps and add the features you’re lacking.

    and I have another issue, can you explain why my email from this account shows in the customer checkout page email

    That might be because you’re visiting the checkout page while logged in. Will it still show if you use an incognito/private window? Or a different browser?

    YOU GUYS….8) my colors came back woo hoo
    maykato was right it was a plugin…
    I recognized the name of it and downloaded it and the color picker came back to town.
