I use this plugin on my site and I’ve set the background color of the widget to be a nice blue but when I look at the page it’s a washed out silver, it looks like it’s got a gradient overlay that’s covering the blue, any ideas how to fix this?

This is the code I’m using

    [awesome-weather location="Fira" units="C" size="wide" override_title="Current Weather in Santorini" forecast_days="5" hide_stats=0 background="none;" custom_bg_color="#0087d8"]

and this is the page http://www.whichgreekisland.co.uk/islands/santorini/#tab-2

    Thanks.

Remove the ‘background=”none;”‘ and you should be good to go.

I’ve changed the shortcode to this and it’s still the same.

    [awesome-weather location=”Fira” units=”C” size=”wide” override_title=”Current Weather in Santorini” forecast_days=”5″ hide_stats=0 custom_bg_color=”#0087d8″]

I think it’s because the plugin uses a class of “custom” and my theme seems to use that as well. Is there anyway I can change that to be “aww-custom” or something like that so the two don’t interact?

    Thanks.

Yes, that’s a good idea. I just submitted a new version 1.5.1 and changed it to awe_custom.

    Thanks for reporting it!
