collapse-o-matic breaks theme

    I love your plugin Collapse-O-Matic. However when I updated to WordPress 5.7, some aspects of my theme didn’t work. When I deactivated Collapse-O-Matic, everything worked fine. I’m wondering if you are using an older version of JQuery that is incompatible with WordPress 5.7.

    Now when I want to make css changes in my theme, I have to deactivate your plugin, make the change, then reactivate the plugin.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hmmm… version 1.7.13 has been fully tested with WP 5.7 w/o any issues.
    What theme are you using? can you share a link to your page so we can check for any error messages?

    What aspects of your theme are not working with the Collapse-O-Matic plugin activated? Is this only an issue in dashboard, or also on the front end?

    We would like to help you get this figured out quickly if it’s an issue with our plugin, but we cannot see any issue on our test servers, so we’ll need your help to troubleshoot.

    Thanks for your quick response. The issue only occurs in the backend in the design part of the theme. However, I have another site that uses the same theme and also this plugin, and had no issue. It may be that there is another plugin which is the conflict, but when I turned yours off, there was no problem.

    A plugin conflict on the site that has the issue sounds likely.
    Try turning off all plugins except for collapse-o-matic and verifying that it works. If so, turn on each plugin one by one and test until you have found the conflict.

    You might also see if any error messages are being thrown in the javascript console/inspector of your browser, or by using a debug plugin.

    I just went back to that site and it is now working fine again. Maybe a temporary glitch, or something from before the WordPress update was still cached???
