I haven’t been able to add comments on my wordpress site. the site, praemon.org, is a student organization, so when I took over the organization i received the responsibility over the site as well. The previous president designed the website and created a child theme for fresh news theme. In the child theme, he eliminated comments completely and I want them back. Below is the coding, but I want to know what I need to remove/change in it to make comments work again, since I have no working knowledge of php coding (and I apologize for the length, and thanks for the help):
