code is different on piwik and wp-piwik

    WP-Piwik gets the tracking code from Piwik itself (it is delivered by Piwiks tracking API), so it should be same same code. Did you try to reset WP-Piwik to force it to fetch the tracking code again via Piwik’s API?

    Of course the code would differ, if you choose some extended options which have to change the tracking code to work.
