code for use in a template?

I have constant contact api 2.4.1 installed. wp ver 3.7.3
I am trying to get the plugin to work in my template using this code:

<?php do_shortcode(‘[constantcontactapi formid=”form1″]’);?>

I have created the form, ‘form1’ and saved it.

The source code for the html shows nothing is happening.
The widget version is working fine

Any help would be great.
