• I’m working in an international template of a company (several countries using the same template, content can be different).

Most of the times I upload an article via the visual button (WYSIWYG), but in specific cases I enter text via the code frame. Mostly to add embedded code (Storify, Slideshare, …).

When entered the code, I publish the post immediately. But instead of seeing the Storify timeline, or the Slideshare or the extra Youtube videos are not visible in the blog. I only can see a link.

When going back to my dashboard to edit the post, the code of the embedded storify, sladeshare, video has disappeared.
This is not the case for the other countries.

Working on Mac. Tried different browsers (Safari, Firefox) WordPress version 3.8.4.

  • Different themes can have an effect on how the code is processed, and different editors can also effect the code, as can some plugins.

For example some themes allow you to disable the processing that the visual editor does, or disable the visual editor completely on a post by post basis.

Knowing what theme and which editor you’re using would be helpful.
