The cookie to 0 are set in the popup appearance settings.
It seems that your theme throw a javascript issue that’s why you can’t close it.
Try also changing in the popup fadein to slide effect.
I changed the cookies to 0 and changed the effect. How do I fix the javascript issue on the plugin?
I got this working. The JQuery error was caused by the jquery.easing file. I fixed it by following the directions on this blog post: http://www.gilluminate.com/2011/06/06/jquery-easingjquery-easing-def-is-not-a-function/
Only problem I have now is the “x” for the close box isn’t appearing. I’m going to search to see if there is already a solution for that.

That’s your theme overwriting the font from popup plugin css . I’m on my mobile so I can’t tell the exact rule but check that
