    Hello,

I have created a popup with a button which says ‘contact me’ and this button is linked to the contact section of my onpager (on which the popup is displayed). But when I press the button now the page scrolls to the section in the background but the popup is still there. So how can I close the Popup when I click on the button?

    Thanks in advance!

  • I’m having an exact same issue. And other people in the Elementor community on Facebook are also trying to solve this. Can somebody from Elementor reply?

    Hi @ljjtboards
    Are you still experiencing this?
If yes, can you please send a link so that I can take a look?

    Hello @lisaelementor,

I’m experiencing the same problem. I’m using the pop up to create an overview menu with icon lists to redirect to specific sections on particular pages.

To open the pop up, a user clicks on the “Search Icon” on the top right.

Now the pop up is universal, hence when a user clicks on any of the page section links, the page loads, scrolls to that section and we’re good to go.

However, if the user clicks on one of the options on the same page he or she currently is on, the website scrolls to that section and the “Menu” or Pop Up remains open on top.

As of now I have only added a link to the “About” Text on the Pop Up page.

To explain this, you can visit this website and conduct the following steps:

    1. Open: https://securehimalayas-33b64d.easywp.com/
    2. Click on Search Icon to open the Pop Up Menu.
    3. Click on “About”
    4. The page will load to https://securehimalayas-33b64d.easywp.com/about/#steps
    5. Scroll Up
    6. From this page, click the Search Icon to open the Pop Up Menu again.
    7. Now if you click on “About” the page will again scroll to the Section, but the pop up remains open as the section is on the same page, and a new page isn’t being loaded.

I wish to add a css code snipet to allow me to shut the pop up on clicking anywhere, ie the page section links regardless of it loading a new page, or scrolling to the bottom of the page. This will actually make my pop up menu universal.

Thanking you in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Angad Luthra
