    Hi,

Yes, that is exactly what UpdraftPlus is for.
Please check how you can clone/migrate a WP site using UpdraftPlus here – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-migrate-to-a-new-site-location/

Thank you for the reply. The documentation in the link that you sent refers to installing Migrator on one’s existing site. But I do not have access to the site on the web, only the backups from Updraft in my Dropbox. Can you link me to documentation on how to do that? I do not want to purchase the software if it will not do what I need.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Michael,

If you want to clone a website to a new domain or location, I’m afraid you will need the migrator add-on for that.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
