Hello!
Just to clarify, are you hitting this problem in your WordPress dashboard or when viewing your website?
If you’re trying to edit your Gallery Item’s content, you’ll want to click the Edit content button at the top-right of your item.
No, I’ll try to clarify. I want to be able to click on the ‘gallery image’ so that it takes me to the content (more images).
So, this is what I want as my content. I want the gallery image to redirect me to this content.

When I go to my website, this is what happens. I roll over it & I get to see this (see link) & am not able to click on it. What I would like is that the text becomes visible after you hover over it, like it does. But then I want to be able to click and have it redirect to another page (not in a new tab) with more content; more photos.

I get the feeling I have to do something with this URL thing, but I don’t know.

I tried something & made a new page with the content and used that link. I was able to click on the gallery image but it just gave me a page with an error.

Hi again,
Thanks for clarifying this.
You’re correct; you’ll need add a Item link URL. The URL is the address you see at the top of your browser. It will looks something like this:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/page/example
I have the same problem. Created a gallery. When I roll over an image, the link text becomes visible and the mouse turns to a pointer, but the link is not clickable.
If I right click on the link and select “open in a new tab” it works.
Format is: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/etc.
Just to clarify, I haven’t used the Link URL under “Configure Items”, as there is not an option for the link to open in another tab or windows (the link is external to my site, so I don’t want to lose the traffic).
Instead, I have entered the link into the content editor, where the open in another tab is available. This is the link that doesn’t work.
Hello!
I suspect you’ve discovered a bug here with links that are entered into the gallery item content field. I’ve opened a ticket for us to investigate this, and we’ll let you know when we come up with a solution.
