I’m using Popup Maker to display some forms made in WPForms.

After visitors click the Submit button WPForms show a confirmation message.

But my visitors does not see this confirmation message because the click on Submit also closes the popup. The message is there but the popup is no longer visible.

    My questions:

    1) how is the submit button and the close command or close button connected? I have not changed the default “close button” settings.

    2) Is there a way to avoid the submit button to close the popup? Or maybe to delay the closing until the confirmations message has been shown…?

    3) If this is explained somewhere in the Popup Maker documentation – please help me find it…

@opaldigital – Ok so first to clarify, the popup isn’t closing on submit. When the form is submitted the page reloads, since the popup is not open on page load normally you don’t see the errors or confirmation. In order for a form to not reload the page it must submit using AJAX. This is why we recommend several form plugins that work perfectly with Popup Maker such as Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms & Contact Form 7.

    So to answer your questions:

    1. See the above. If you can enable AJAX then doing so may get you most of the way there.
    2. If you use any of the 3 listed above, there are extra options when making your form to do just what your after.
    3. If you search our docs for the above plugins you should find the relevant docs for those form features.

    Hope that helps.
