Hi,
Turning off Live Traffic should empty the stored data. The information is stored in wp_wfhits, so if you are comfortable with MySQL you can try emptying there. Not recommended or supported though.
Thanks!
Brian
Brian,
Thanks for your comment. However, This is not a correct response for my WP site. I have disabled and enabled and disabled a few times the Live Traffic option. I did this in settings, and in the Live Traffic Page. Yet, all the old data still remains. Additionally, when I search my entire database for an old link, it still appears in the wp_wfhits table. I would think that WordFence would have a way to clear the cached logs? Isn’t there another way besides dabbling with MySQL?
Hi,
In case anyone finds this question in a search in the future, I’m pasting the same response from your other post here:
We don’t have an option to clear the hits, but on the options page, you can adjust “Amount of Live Traffic data to store (number of rows)” to a low number — it won’t always clear immediately, but clearing is scheduled. We do have a feature request open, to possibly implement this in the future (reference number FB570), so I’ve added your input there.
Thanks!
