Cleantalk blocking valid SendFox forms

Note: I’ve had to disable Cleantalk on my site for the moment.

Since latest release, When Cleantalk is active, none of my embedded SendFox subscription sign-up forms work. On entering name, email address & hitting button – nothing happens when cleantalk is active. If disabled, form operates without issue.

Forms have been operating without issue with Cleantalk active until monthly update applied a few days ago.

Example SendFox form can be seen at bottom of home page.

Hello.
Please, enable the “Protect external forms” option in the Anti-Spam plugin settings (WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Protect external forms” to “On” —> Save Changes).

Thanks for your quick reply.

I reactivated the plugin, made the change you suggest, cleared cache & reloaded page. Unfortunately, no change in behaviour.

There is no need to re-activate the plugin, you can just clear the website cache.
Please, try to set to “On” the next option “Capture buffer”.

I have to reactivate it, as I’ve temporarily deactivated it to enable the forms to function.

The Capture Buffer option had no change either I’m afraid.

We have fixed the issue. All the changes will be included in the next stable release.

Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

Here is a guide for you:

1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
2. Find the plugin “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
3. After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> 4. Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
5. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
6. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
7. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
