I just installed Better WordPress Minify, and I’m getting an intermittent “err_content_decoding_failed” message when I view my site. I’m using Chrome, and from my research it seems to be some kind of gzip/encoding issue. However, my server should have gzip enabled, and everything *should* be working fine with that.

In Chrome it will flash the error, and then usually load the page a second or two later. In Internet Explorer, it just says “This page can’t be displayed” – but hitting “Refresh” will load the page.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

Solved — It was caused by an extra space after the closing ?> in a plugin file… Had nothing to do with Better WP Minify!

    Can you explain more?

There was another plugin (not Better WordPress Minify) that had an extra space after the ?> in one of its files.

It’s important to be sure there are no extra characters (spaces or new lines) after the final ?> in a PHP file. Not sure how else to explain.

I need help too. Same problem here
