Opera had popup blocking before mozilla had that.
I read it someplace I can trust.
It has popup blocking that works real well.
Just 1 thing, it does not inform u of a block as of now as Moz does.
See, I am not blind, I know where Opera lacks in comparision to Moz too. But these are few cases… 🙂

🙂 You do make a good argument. 🙂
So, uh, yeah … Christmas Style Sheets … that’s what we were talking about.
yup righto. but i can’t resist the temptation to fight back if someone says anything bad abt Opera. Software Romance can be bad… 😛
I use Firebird. That extension’s been sorta… obsolete to me.
http://www.pixelechoes.net/albums/soft/not_correct_susubh.jpg as proof.
As per the Christmas theme… if it’s the one I just saw, I can’t see a thing on it. Red + just about any other color becomes something I can’t see.
well my default installation of Firebird 0.7 did not come with any of its own and the 1 I am using is the one installed since 0.6. The problem with Firebird Open Source extension is that for every feature there are xillians of different extensions. Hence the fact I prefer Opera.
One nice thing about extensions is that the user has more control over the browser. Not interested in Web Development? Fine–don’t d/l the extensions. I would rather go get the stuff I want, and ONLY the stuff I want, rather than have the browser ship with a ton of stuff that’s not necessary. It keeps the footprint of the browser down on the hard drive and simplifies the design.
It’s virtually the principle of an automobile assembly line – run the chassis through one way, and you get the base model, which is simpler and cheaper; run another chassis through, but this time add tinted glass and air conditioning and a CD stereo system. What’s BETTER about Firebird, is that you don’t HAVE to have the CD stereo system AND the air conditioning, like they do with cars. You get your choice.
Craig.
I am again doing that!
Opera vs. Firebird… 😛
Opera comes fully loaded at half the price (download size and hence the footprint) of Firebird.
My point was many extensions doing the same stuff hence creating confusion of mine does that that ways not that ways…
Not that they have to be installed seperately. 😉
I think a browser thread should be started and all browser discussion should be routed there.
I am looking for a christmas theme for wordpress also….WHERE???
RickyG
Yeah, but this is a 2 years old thread. Not to mention you already posted your request http://wordpress.org/support/topic/50295 and double posting is considered a big NO NO around here 🙂
Be patient, wait… or make a theme for Christmas.
Wow. Another post that’s been resurrected. Even better, the link is broken.
