    hi
    i have 4 team (TEAM A, TEAM B, TEAM C and TEAM D) and setting it for 2 group:
    GROUP 1 : TEAM A and TEAM B
    GROUP 2 : TEAM C and TEAM D

    RULES ARE : Finals – Third Place
    TEAM A for group 1 wins and go to finals
    TEAM D for group 2 wins and go to finals

    finals is TEAM A – TEAM D
    third place (losers) is TEAM B – TEAM C

    is ONLY possible setting-up finals and NOT third place because in the dropdown menu appears “1 GROUP A” and “1 GROUP B” for home/away team when i try to add new third place match….
    …and not appears on pulldown menu for selection home/away team “2 GROUP A” or “2 GROUP B”

    it’s a bug ?

    Since I haven’t worked with the championship code much, I’m not 100% sure how well it works at this point. I’ve got a couple of projects going on that are touching that code though and hope that when I come out the other side I’ll have a much better feel for what’s going on and what needs to be worked on. I think that it in normal circumstances it works pretty well, but there are a number of enhancements that it needs that will change how it works, such as the ability to add a series of games in a round (best-of-three quarterfinals for instance).

    I know that doesn’t answer your question, but know that over the next few weeks I will be in that code looking for issues…

    and since we are in the code…..
    I suggest you increase the year with regard to dates, because if you ever decide to enter a match of the years ’50 (for example), is not possible because the possibility of choosing the years is from 1993 to 2013 ( i needs first date as 8 may 1898, it is the first match of italian serie a league)

    other is not needed, it is perfect best application

    I’ve changed some code to change from the pop-ups to a date picker, should be able to select any date, but I’ll double check that and make sure before committing the next update…

    It was one of the first changes I made when I started using the plugin last year, much faster to enter a number of matches./
