Child Theme CSS issue – Cart Buttons

  • Using a MU install.

    I created the following folder structure:
    /wp-content/themes/MyTheme-child/woocommerce/cart/cart.php

    As soon as I add that cart.php file into that folder with NO modifications applied to it, my cart page buttons (Apply Coupon & Update Cart) get changed to have a transparent background. I can only see them if I hover where they should be.

    I am looking to modify the file located at:
    /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/cart.php

    However, I’m not sure why those 2 specific buttons are being effected.
    The CSS for the hover effect seems to still work, just not the default background color.

    Any Suggestions?

  • Hi, It should be possible to add some custom css to give the buttons a background colour, something like:
    #content .woocommerce .cart .button {background:#AAA !important}
    If you can’t get it to work, please give your page url.

    Yeah I figured if I HAD to.. I could just force my color in there, but I’d rather have it work as expected and assume the colors assigned in my settings.
