child theme

Hello,

I’m using the Vantage them now for a while, but in the beginning i was not aware that i had to make an child theme before i was going to adjust line in the files (css and php).

Can anybody advice me if i can copy al the files in to the child theme, or how I can handle this the best?
I don’t know anymore where i have adjust all things. I dare not to update now because I’m afraid to losing some custom formatting.
