Child theme

    Hi, I just create a child theme for twentyseventeen theme and after that I find a theme in themes and activate, but my website is not the same like parent twentyseventeen, there is no css, i can see html and twentyseventeen default header image. Today is my first time that I’m creating a child theme and I decide to use twentyseventeen theme for that, but I have problem, I follow all instructions on youtube but…:/

    There is a one problem more. In my themes folder, I can’t see my twentyseventeen original theme.

    What is the problem, where I made mistake?

    Sounds like twenty seventeen isn’t installed. You can install it under Appearance → Themes in your wp-admin by clicking add new to the right of the title and searching for it.

    If not, please review it carefully.

    Or you can create the child theme using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-configurator/
