What do you mean by “a child navigation menu”?
Everytime I go to save the pages I want as child menus, it won’t stick. Once I hit Save Menu, It bounces back to the left. Is there somthing I’m doing wrong?

I know where the Menu option is but what is a “child” menu?
ok, if I want to make sub menus, I was under the impression that I had to move pages I want as sub menus to the right under the page that is a parent. Hope this makes sense.
So you’re talking about sub-menu items, yes? What you are describing is correct but it could be that your theme or one of your plugins is causing a problem. See if you can replicate the problem using the default theme with all plugins deactivated.

It doesn’t work. I deactivated all plugins and using default theme.
You are not using the 2012 default theme.

Then you are not using a current version of WP – it’s part of WP3.5. Or you can get it here:

Or via your dashboard under Intall Themes.
Then you need to install & activate it
