Cherry project performance

    I used the Cherry project to display my recent projects on the page. I have 4 images to display. Each image around 50KB. It took 17 secs to load the images up. I believe the filter hook the load the project’s data is causing the ajax call to respond very slowly.

    Is there any way to improve the performance for this?
