• I am wanting to remove the requirement for adding a password during Checkout.

I am aware of WooCommerce> Settings> Accounts and Privacy, check the Allow customers to place orders without an account box.

However, I would like the user/customer’s information to be recorded in Users.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give.

    Regards, Ray

  • However, I would like the user/customer’s information to be recorded in Users.

Note that the buyer’s information is ALWAYS captured and stored, even if the “Allow customers to place orders without an account” is checked.

All Woocommerse purchases can be found at Woocommerce => Customers.

Does this meet your requirement? Or do you still need users to create a WordPress login account?

    Hi George,
    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I understand that the customer is recorded for each purchase in Woocommerce.

I was wondering if there was any way the customer information could also be recorded in the WordPress Users.

I don’t want them to have to create an account. A number of people I am dealing with have very little computer knowledge.

    Regards, Ray
