    Hello,

    We recently added and configured the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin. Almost everything went well. Unfortunately, checkout on the website is not working (UK instagram profile, UK Shop). We tried both /checkout/ and /fb-checkout/ urls – neither responds correctly. We still didn’t hear back from the support despite sending 2 tickets. Any advice on this matter is more than welcome.

    Hi @saintdesign – thanks for reaching out!

    Can you elaborate a bit – is the checkout not working at all, or are you not seeing the events/data sync back to your Business Manager?

    Also, please share the screenshots of the error you are seeing, as well as System Status report and any plugin-related errors from your debug.log using PasteBin so that we can look into this further.

    Hello Marija,

    Thank you for a prompt answer. I did not expect you to respond so fast.

    During the setup, the plugin creates a page dedicated to facebook checkout, under /fb-checkout/ slug. When we checked the checkout by adding products through FB business manager, /fb-checkout/ opens up as ‘not found’ page – it’s no different from a regular 404. The same thing happened when we tried using the regular /checkout/ page. Our selected products didn’t appear anywhere in the basket. Woocommerce shop works fine on it’s own. Upon further inspection, /fb-checkout/ page does not exist despite the plugin saying it was created and everything is successful. Are we missing something?

    Sadly the documentation available online doesn’t explain anything on this matter. There are no instructions on how to configure the checkout page. It all should just magically work.

    I cannot provide you with a debug log. I don’t have access to the FB Business Manager to rerun the tests. I need to request a screen sharing session with the client to produce an accurate debug log. I’m happy to do that if you insist.

    And here’s the error. No wonder /fb-checkout/ is not found – it does not exist.

    Hi @saintdesign – thanks for sharing a detailed report!

    Can you try removing the connection, and reconnecting to your page (just make sure to temporarily disable all cache plugins and ad blockers, and clear the cache beforehand).

    Then, during the connection process, you just need to enter the contact email and site URL:

    Finally, you can edit the Shop details settings in your Commerce Manager.

    The checkout URL should contain [your-site]/fb-checkout. You can follow the prompts/instructions as they appear while setting up the URL, you can also checkout this guide on how to set up the Checkout URL.
