checkout error only Chrome mobile

Hello, Woocommerce processing with Moneris works fine with all browsers/platforms and has run normally until this week. On Google Chrome mobile only (ipad/iphone) the error occurs as soon as you go to the checkout page, without even entering anything:
‘An error occurred with your payment, please try again or try another payment method’
It allows for you to enter billing details but when you reach the credit card field the page jumps to the top again, the keyboard slides to hidden, and so entry is not possible. The CC fields are not greyed out, and all other information can be added (address etc).
Any thoughts?
