I have the WooCommerce cart widget in the side bar. I want the “View cart” (translated to Vis Handlekurv) button to go to the cart page we have set up.

My assumption (correct me if I am wrong) is that the Cart Page setting in the Checkout Settings tab of Woocommerce Settings sets where this View cart (Vis Handlekurv) button on the side bar widget link goes to.

What is happening is that the button goes to the My Account page. I believe this is the default. (http://ag2.no/huurre/my-account/) . I want it to go to a different page.

Can we change the link destination of the View Cart button on the WooCommerce cart widget? It doesn’t make sense that it goes to the My account page for it is labeled “View cart”.

Is there another place in the WooCommerce settings menu where we can fix this? Or is there a hack to make this work?

    Thanks!

  • The checkout page is the one that you set in WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > Checkout pages. Do you have that set?

Yes. I set that Checkout page in the Checkout Settings. Thanks!

I solved the problem. It was a Chrome caching issue.

I ran it under Safari and it worked.

Chromes clearing cache and “Empty cache and hard reload” wasn’t working. So I had to quite Chrome and start up again. Darn Chrome. You’d think that Chrome would be better than that.
