To alter the design of elements like you are requesting would require some custom code to be written possibly in CSS or PHP.
To help with this type of customization we recommend using Firebug (a Firefox browser extension) or Chrome/Safari > Inspect Element tool. You can right click anywhere on your webpage to select ‘Inspect Element’, the HTML and CSS properties show up right in your browser. Please see:
