Checking Permissions problem

    Hi there,

    I’m trying to get the new posts to appear on my Facebook page’s Wall (it appears in the app perfectly) but whenever I try to “Check permissions” for stream publishing from WordPress, I get this page – which doesn’t have the “Grant or re-grant permissions for your userid” option (or anything else for that matter.

    Help…

    Do you have access to your PHP error logs?

    Right after it says “has granted these permissions” WPBook is querying FB for various permissions – it must be hitting some kind of error at exactly that point, which is causing it to fail in trying to get any permissions.

    Is the number you have set as your Facebook profile id in WPBook settings correct?

    Hi,

    I am receiving a similar type of check permissions error. http://bit.ly/resC0D It won’t let me grant or re-grant permission. Please advise.

    Hmm. Not sure what’s happening there – is there something different about that blog? (wordPress version, plugins?)

    Is the admin user you are logged in as a “fan” of the page to which you’re trying post? An Admin of that page?

    What is in your Stream/Wall Options?

    In the check permissions page screencast you shared, it says you are trying to publish to page 213715695314321 – is that correct?

    You might need to remove the page id from the settings under Stream/Wall first, make sure the appropriate permissions get stored for publishing to your personal wall, then try to address the page again.
