Checkbox field filter not working

    I am trying to add a filter option for a checkbox field where more than one checkbox can be selected. However, when I go to the filters and select one of the values for that checkbox field, the filter result is no matches. I tried the same with a radio field which works fine.

    I need help please to allow filters on the checkbox field.

    Yes, where the members grid is, the default members list page that links to each member’s profile page.

    If you are using the “Custom usermeta table” try to disable it
    and use the default WP usermeta table instead.

    Custom usermeta table? I have no idea what this is or where to look for it.

    EDIT: Found it and it was on, now off 🙂

    UM Settings -> Advanced -> Features -> Custom usermeta table

    Check this box if you would like to enable the use of a custom table for user metadata. Improved performance for member directory searches.

    This bug report was only resolved with a solution for default WP metadata tables.

    Yes, for sites with many registered Users the “Custom usermeta table” is performing better than the WP usermeta table. The “Custom usermeta table” is a copy of the WP usermeta table with the subset of User data required by the Directory.

    For this filter issue the “Custom usermeta table” Directory code is not prepared to handle multi-select field values correct.
