Check Spam Words – check comments content ?

    Have a question if is ste words to check and acrivate it by using “Check Spam Words:” the plugin will check email, autor field but it check the comment content ? Because someone have spammed my wordpress and he used normal things autor field but in content was this:

    Yes it checks the comment content, but often the spammers use different unicode characters to hide their intentions. The plugin is very simple and can easily be fooled.

    Do we see in new version something that limit post counts and comments counts per some time ? Like the guy that is logged in can only make post evry 10 minutes ?

    I had considered this, but it means keeping a long list of IP addresses and how many times they have used the site. It is also possible that someone could make several comments in a short period of time and I don’t want to stop them.

    It is something that is doable, but I am not sure I will implement it.

    Perhaps there is another plugin that throttles comments.
