It’s very strange, I pasted ₩0.00, but it shows the correct Korean Won symbol.
@petaframe,
Thanks for reporting this. I’m very frankly a bit ignorant to i18n and i18n-related issues. I do my best to communicate with our translators (we have a bunch) and I know there’s some very narrow-minded American- (or at least Western-) biased thinking governing some of the functionality in LifterLMS. I’m always trying to expand my grasp of these concepts and fix LifterLMS to accommodate. I really heavily rely on users like yourself to let me know when stuff doesn’t work right in this domain so, thanks you!
That said, I just had a look at my local site and switched the currency to the Won (screencap of the frontend: https://www.evernote.com/l/AUCzxbO1grJMSImUhrowbJj-vtqW6LX1OjwB/image.png) and it looks to be functional as expected to me. Of course I don’t have a Korean language file loaded so the rest is all in English but it seems like the currency symbol is functional.
And I copied your *correctly displaying* length example from above (30일) and pasted that into the course length area. Saved it and got what seems to be the correct result on the frontend (screencap: https://www.evernote.com/l/AUA03Y7jvABJrLsNF2TXUIGPufGpzDrqXTAB/image.png)
So, I’m scratching my head a bit too. I’m sure if I could reproduce this I could figure out what I’ve done wrong for you but I’m not seeing it.
Furthermore the link you provided above doesn’t appear to be showing the issues you’re reporting.
Can you let me know if you’ve fixed it?
If not, could you check if it’s potentially a plugin conflict (disable everything except LifterLMS — temporarily — and try to update the length again and see if that changes anything).
Thanks,
