Changing theme to un-truncate posts

    Im using this theme, but I want it to display the whole post, or give me the option of using the more tag to shorten it. As it stands now they have to click on teh title of the post to read it, and I’m just not a fan.

    Love the theme, hate that part.

    Any help is greatly appreciated, I assume it is some coding that has to be change… thanks, wask.

    In the index.php file change the_content to the_excerpt.

    You should, however, be able to use the <-- more --> tag anywhere in the post that you darn well please. I’ve never heard of a theme that manages to disable that, since it’s not part of the theme’s files.

    When you view your post as if you are going to edit it, there should be a “more” button there. Position that where you want the front page text to cut off and click it and it should insert the <-- more --> tag there.
