  • Some themes have the theme folder inside a wrapper folder. Check to see if you need to extract a folder from your theme folder by putting that inner folder in the themes folder.

    right now I have themes/classic/default/disciple

Disciple is the theme not showing in the theme editor drop down and is the one I want to install.

should all the disciple php files be shown listed in the default folder rather than inside the disciple folder?Right now disciple has it’s own subfolder.

    Thanks.

    Nested folders? As in /wp-content/themes/themefolder/themefolder/themefiles?

    Hi

You have installed the disciple them into the wrong folder. It does not belong inside the default folder. It wants to be in wp-content/themes/

ok now though it’s telling me a stylesheet is missing even though I have uploaded one.

    1) Do you see style.css in your theme folder using an FTP program?
If not, its not in the right place.

    2) if so, type the url to your theme folder style sheet into your browser

    {domain.com}/{wp folder}/wp-content/themes/{themefoldername}/style.css

Are you seeing the stylesheet displayed?

If not, the browser is not seeing it for some reason.
