Changing the OG type through custom fields

I use WP SEO and its feature for adding the Facebook og tags but I need to change the og:type to image, I found
https://yoast.com/facebook-open-graph-protocol/Which seems to be what I need, I’d like to use the Customer Field method, however I have no idea where to copy the code to and everywhere I tried so far just broke the site.
Can anyone help with this?
