I’ve just installed your plugin, which is very straightforward. Thank you very much for that.

I think i’m missing something however. I’ve looked through the posts, and haven’t found an answer. I have put a slideshow up on my homepage, but it’s in a rectangle shape. I would like to make it a square shape to fit a certain space. Right now it just looks weird. I’ve changed the px on the Meteor Slides Settings page, but nothing seems to work.

Am I doing something wrong? Am i expecting it to do something that it’s not intended to do?

    Thank you for your help.

  • If you change the slideshow dimensions in the settings page after you have uploaded your slides, you need to re-upload your slides. In other words, the slides must be uploaded after you set your slideshow dimensions, not before.

That didn’t work for me. Do i have to delete my pictures from my media library, and then upload it again?

I removed them from slides, and deleted the slideshow, and then put them all on again, but maybe i need to remove the actual pictures from the site first?

    Thanks for the help 🙂

Yes, as I said, you need to re-upload the pictures (to your media library). So you don’t fill up your media library with multiple versions (which could be confusing later) it is simplest to delete the existing pictures in the media library and them re-upload them.
