As long as you get rid of the category signed prints you can do that.
Know that you should add a 301 redirect to any changed URL. Unless this is a new website and you’re still in development. This would only apply to older websites that have been indexed for awhile.
Go into SETTINGS > PERAMALINKS >

There’s a plugin called 301 Redirect or like me, I have my own redirects in my cPanel or htaccess. All a matter of what you’re comfy doing.
