    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Yes. I just tried to update my wordpress to the newest version and now it has this in addition [twitter] error: PHP 5.3.0 or later requires

    One of your plugins is likely causing that – try deactivating all of them to see if it goes away – then reactivate one by one to find out which one.
